Owl Butterflies
Two Owl butterflies co-operate as nature intended in tucking in to an over-ripe banana in the glass-house at RHS Wisley this afternoon. It was nearly closing time and we were being ushered out almost as soon as we got in so there was little opportunity to capture much. The camera never had the chance to warm up so I had to wipe the lens continually.
I wasn't sure whether to use this as I had two nice pics of pipes and windows in shadow against the setting sun and another nice one of a narrow boat when we walked the dogs on another bit of the Wey Navigation at Pyrford Lock. But the owl butterflies won for their novelty value. Very cold again.
