Rusting Rejected Relic Resourcefully Rescued
Spent all day in the darkroom today, then trying to sort out yet more essay type stuff :( Blippage is really beginning to suffer - which is annoying me as I'd like to put much more time into it!
Oh well! This is an intentionally dark piece to reflect my mood. The item in the photo is an extremely well made, very old bench vice. It has a quick release. To get a poor quality modern version would set you back over £100.
So I was rather pleased when I saw this propped up against the skip at the local dump. Even more pleased when the dump operator allowed me to remove it for just two shiny British pounds!
