So, this was what Mark the Builder left for us this evening. He's put the oak sleeper (that we got from my brother and spent hours sanding at the weekend) in position. Looks nice, don't you think?

With any luck and delivery company depending, the stove should arrive tomorrow and then they'll be able to start playing with flue liners and chimneys, and then for the plastering, and then fur the lovely snug sitting room again! Yay!
