I See You

Wednesdays are my favourite weekdays. I get to walk my son to daycare, and see my wife for lunch. ^_^ Today we decided to have lunch at home - and there were many king parrots hanging around and demonstrating why that was indeed the ideal venue.

I almost didn't blip this. While I am very pleased with it, I was really taken with another of a mother and son in the garden. In the end I was won over by the close-up though.

Click for unprocessed version. I cropped to 3:4, sharpened, added an overlay layer masked to just the parrot, and then raised the brightness of that layer (therefore just the parrot) as well.
