Frozen offerings

This meditating buddha-like statue belongs to my eldest son. Left behind when he moved out years ago, it's become a permanent feature in the corner of my garden steps.

She looked rather sorry for herself today. In addition to losing the top of her headgear - all she could offer was a frozen disc of water. Miraculously my parsley is still going strong despite last night's minus 5 temperature.
