The blues

These two cranes are situated on Salford Quays and are one of the very few reminders left of the docks which once thrived here.

Over the past few years a massive amount of money has been spent in this area with a war museum, theatres, galleries, shops and now Media City housing the BBC.
No money has been spent on these iconic landmarks however and the future is not looking too good for them with demolition being the most likely outcome.

I guess that's progress.
