Arches

I am really not sure what this is. It was a beautiful crisp, sunny, cold day in Manchester, where I had to zoom between meetings. I carried my camera with me and took a dozen or two photos of very different subjects, mostly out in that bright, clear air. But the one that most appealed to me was this, taken under one of the railway arches near to Oxford Road railway station. I like the dark, damp brickwork, which was covered in ice! There are icicles hanging from the arch.

One I took using my iPhone, from the afternoon meeting, will have to wait to be recreated on another day.
