Today was one of those days when things can seem a bit blurry or muddled; lots going on all at the same time. It's getting there, slowly but surely.

Part of the reason for the fuzz is that our smoke detector has decided to start going off at about 3am. Twice in the last fortnight; it gives us a hell of an awakening but amazingly (or worryingly) the children sleep through it.

Another beautiful crisp cold morning (well, cold-ish in comparison to last year or the rest of Europe).
