Magdeburg Sternstrasse

I don't know why but I'm witnessing more and more decay in my hometown.
Let it be the human condition or the buildings.
All is left to me at the moment is to document these scenes.

In the news:
Magdeburg has to save 20.000.000 Euro per year from now on.

This year
- parking fees will be raised by 50%
- tram and bus tickets will rise by 30%
- all public open air baths will remain closed in the summer
- the "cultural year 2007" is cancelled
- the financial support for all clubs / associations will not continue
- the theaters will get no or less financial support
- the building project "Stadtumbau Ost" will be suspended in Magdeburg
- ...

So it seems scenes like these will not get less in the future.
