Incredibly difficult day at work today.I've been 'redeployed' to another area in the hospital as a result of the excessive amount of midwives taking the early retirement package, with no back fill allowed. The Irish Health Service is in crisis and people have started calling for the government to acknowledge that it should declare a 'Health Service State of Emergency'.
