Le violoncelle
One of the first handful of words I learnt in French, je m'appelle Fiona, j'ai une soeur et trois freres, je suis Ecossais, je joue le violoncelle.
I only stopped studying French not even 4 years ago, I wasn't really fluent but I could hold a reasonable conversation (especially about la speleologie et les grottes en France) but now I haven't really got a clue, I had to look up how to spell soeur and can't remember if i'm even using the right verbs! Maybe when I have a bit more time i'll pick it up again...
Anyway, reasonable day of class, work, swimming. I wanted to play this evening, but after finishing my report I realised it was already nearly 10, and too late for making so much noise (even with my mute!)
So instead listening to Steven Sharp Nelson I particularly love this adaptation of Prelude from Bach's Cello suite No.1, it's so clever! His other stuff is great too (I particularly like his Christmas album!)
