Smart Thumb

My Samsung LED TV is a 'SMART' tv, and a fine bit of kit it is too, but a good 'old fashioned' thumb drive loaded with a Slideshow movie (inc. music) from iPhoto does the job just nicely thank you. Sometimes a bit of low-tech is the quickest and best option for getting exactly what you want. Its like a giant digital photoframe on the wall. Cool. There is a Picassa 'App', but its not got an option to select a music track of your choice alongside the images. Not quite smart enough (yet). Now, a Spotify + Blip app... now theres an idea.
