Consumnes River Preserve

This is an absolutely serene place. It's near my commute route and a favored back-road respite after a stressful day. Today was not stressful (huzzah!) yet it was busy. The weather - brilliant. Hence my stop to take several images.

Sadly, all the ducks flew away when I stood to take the image. It's their home and I intruded it - even if to stand behind the gated off access road to the preserve land. My theory is - take images, leave only a memory in places such as this.
