A Fishy Tale

Trying to find a path alongside the river I arrived under this bridge to be met with the most awful, throat-catching pong! Something dead, I thought ... and sure enough there were the rotting carcasses of 3 large fish lying in a mess of their scattered scales on top of this suitcase.

I made a quick exit and was left wondering what the story behind this scene was.
