Went swimming early (09:30) this morning then drove into the chaos known as Georgetown. Took the cable car up 800 Mtrs to the top of Penang Hill where there are both Muslim & Hindu temples. This family group is hidden at the rear of the Hindu temple.
Views spectacular to the naked eye but the haze prevented decent photos from the top.
Quiet night in prospect as we need to pack up AGAIN as we are moving for 1 night to Georgetown for our transfer on Saturday from Penang to Langkawi Island. Getting busy - all budget hotels / S.Catering fully booked. Got the last room on Booking.com. (So they say!)

Even more scorchio today. Guess we can expect increasing temperatures until we hit Chiang Mai in Thailand.

Got to get rid of some weight from the rucksacks as the car goes back tomorrow.
