Who's the Daddy?!

One of out shepherds (we have two) has two working dogs, Nell is a Huntaway and Patch is a Collie. Anyway just before Christmas it became apparent Nell was in pup, and just two weeks later she became a (very young) mum to twelve pups. Patch, seen here appears to be the father.
We had already decided to have one of the pups prior to losing Pugly and I haven't told the children yet but it looks like we will bring one home next weekend. She will live outside with Braemar which may seem harsh but she will be a working dog. But I must admit to having bought a heat pad for her cage already.
It's hard to feel excited when you feel guilty at the same time.
