The Weather Cometh

The weather person was dead on. The weather came, just like he said it would, and it did exactly what he said.

So, why are people stunned and surprised when it does?

My daughters wandered off to school, a ten minute walk away and eventually at 10am - an hour and a half later Jane was dispatched to collect Anya from her sisters school and take her to her own school - a two minute walk away as she said she could not walk on the icy pavement.

I refused to go out in the car - because of the icy roads.
