Only Me.... :-(

My son decided to help me cook a recipe for our dinner.

I decided:

2 onions
2 tins of chopped tomatoes
5 chicken breasts
herbs
worchester sauce

All chopped, in the pan and left to cook whilst the spagetti is cooking too.

Whilst chopping the chicken, my son insisted on helping - his hands getting in the way - and whilst I was guarding against chopping his little fingers I caught my thumb!

No words did I mutter.
No tears fell.

The knife was so sharp it didn't hurt as my flesh (not just skin) was sliced from my thumb.

Doesn't hurt now - but I suspect tomorrow, it will.
