Tarn Hows to Hawkshead

Having a walking break in the Lake District, just over the border in Cumbria.  Weather is fabulous, snow and a lot of ice, but my Yak Traks are wonderful and really prevent slipping and sliding.  Walked from Tarn Hows to Hawkshead, a lovely little Cumbrian village, very ancient, then headed off to the hotel in Bowness -on-Windermere, where we had a nice room, nice meal, and entertainment.  A great day!  ....and tomorow another walk!!!  Hope the weather holds.
