seahorse...

...in a leaf abstract

it caught my eye - does it not yours, too? can you tell - see the outline of the horse? the way the leaf is drying - dying into what appears to be a fossilized seahorse? the head at the bottom - with the eye, then there - sort of staring out at you...

yet again... nature calling my name - to be creative - open to see beyond my own ability - to step beyond. there is always more... if we're willing to look - more to see than first meets the eye - if we can look deeper... not jump to our initial conclusion but step back for a moment - to be quiet... with a perseptive glancing at what we're looking at. and then we'll be able to see the immense beauty and joy that surrounds us - all the time - waiting silently - to make for...
