Nothing and Everything

Partick public library

I've always liked this building. It is (as the title suggests) the Partick public library. I think it's very stately and rather a handsome building. Also, when I was a postie (mailman to my American friends) this was the last address on one of my more difficult routes. However, when I go inside it is only ever filled with disappointment. The Ceilings are a good 20 - 30 feet high, but ALL the book selves are only 4 feet. And none of them are full, most even less than half way. The 'Classics' section has a few of the usual suspects plus, for god knows way, 8 (yes 8) copies of the "Great Gatsby" Oh well.
