Rocket Along a Different Track

Ended up on metro for the morning commute, rather than the train, a terrifying thought as there've been so many delays and service issues across the metro system lately. Overall, myself and fellow travelers weren't delayed too long. But we did come to a screeching halt between stations at one point, putting me face to face with the above track signal.

Red lights flashing, both in the signal and in my brain, I scrambled for the mobile to capture the moment.

It's not often we do, or are able to, notice the little things we whiz past that make the big things run smoothly and safely (or in metro's case, just run at all).
