Backblip
With a little cropping, this shot - fired off very hurriedly with no expectation - has actually come out reasonably decent. I drove out to our friends near Alyth, where Jem was already with Ellie and Mairi-Anne and their babies, and we were joined by Ramon and Hugh for dinner. It was great to have time together - next time I expect we'll have joined the parent club! It did make us late for ante-natal.... Though that was good again.
The drive out there was interesting - thick fog on the south side of the Sidlaws, but then breaking through that above Newtyle the mist was rising in Strathmore, with the foothills of the Grampians/Southern Cairngorms behind. Really stunning views, but nowhere to stop! This view from the farm gives a little of the atmosphere, but only a very little! Never mind - sometimes these things should just be enjoyed....
