After re-earthing the house and installing a nice fresh modern RCB-filled distribution unit the electrical-thing doing-man popped up to the loft to remove all the presumably-fashionable-at-the-time cable-piping, which was mostly sitting proud of the joists and helping to block the installati0n of loft-flooring. It wasn't entirely responsible for blocking the installation of roof-flooring as there are also some water-pipes sitting proud of the joists which will also have to be moved. As well as removing the trunking the man also uninstalled several bits of insulation, made some crazily-teetering piles of boxes which might easily have fallen onto one of the unfloored bits and left some quite heavy bits of not-installed loft-flooring (whose weight was increased by having all the cut-off bits of conduit-piping dumped atop them) resting on top of some of the pipes carrying water sitting proud of the joists. The dingbat.
