Gloves and scarf

Just had to blip something handy to post my update. The police came and took details of what my friend looked like and got his bank details to check if he was using his account. They checked his garage to make sure he hadn't gone there which he hadn't.

By that time I was a wreck inside but somehow managed to hold it together.

My friend's neighbour didn't have him with her as I had hoped as that was my last consideration of a possibility.

The police were contacting the hospital while I was giving details and a call came through to say they had sent him home at half seven yesterday morning.

They asked me if I wanted them to release this to the press but I asked for a day to see if their investigations found anything out.

I went home and about half an hour to an hour later I got a phone call from the police to say they had located him. He hadn't been sent home at all. The hospital had transferred him to Broadgreen.

Well I broke down and sobbed and sobbed with relief. Then I got angry with the hospital for putting me through that.

So today I reported the event to PALS. The woman I spoke to was very friendly and said she would speak to the Matron of A&E and would get back to me, probably in about a week !!

I rang Broadgreen and my friend was fine they said and I am intending to visit him on Friday all being well.
