Village visit

Today we went on a hike over to the local village on the other side of the island, it must of been about 35degrees.

The village has power part of the day with the use of a generator and the living conditions aren't great. The don't have much but then they don't need much either, the women generally stay at home with kids cooking and weaving while the men either go out fishing or work in the fields.

This village is lucky as it has a small primary school, we got to look around and go into the class rooms which was cool.

This young girl said it was alright to take her photo and was pleased to see it on the camera- then 5 of her friends wanted one taken too, hard to get away!
