The Sea That Isn't
Been a slow, slow day. And probably going to be a slow week as I won't have a car for the next 10 days so I'll have to make do with what happens around me....lets see how creative I can be. I must admit I actually saw a dragonfly the other day which I didn't think existed here, tried to stalk it but it disappeared against all the white sand.
Took a picture of the moon and bridge which looks fine but once I blip it it's just too dark. So this picture is of the landfill slowly looming out over the bay. It's a bit depressing when you notice that the sunrise picture you took a few weeks ago with the sun reflecting on the see is no longer possible because the landfill has come so far over that that view is no longer ....how sad that they think they need more land! The bay is just full of debris now as they pile truck loads of absoute rubbish into the sea. Desertcamel had a lovely sea view together with dolphins in the bay when she moved here 5 1/2 years ago, now she surrounded by sand as the landfill has to stand for a while before they start builing huge skyscrapers on it. I'll be gone hopefully before my front lawn is not longer a sea.
