Birnbeck Pier from Prince Consort Gardens.

Opened in 1867, consists of a 1040ft cantilever construction connecting Birnbeck Island to the mainland. The pier has been closed to the public since 1994 and is included on English Heritage's 'Buildings at risk' register. It continues to deteriorate and it's future is still unclear.
