Sand Kiting - West Sands

We headed down to the west sands this morning for a wander with the dogs. The tide was very low so we decided to head toward the Eden estuary rather than the town. Its not often we can do that as if the tide is heading in, that area can get cut off quite quickly.

We noticed the sand kiters and so did the dogs. As soon as the kites were close and up in the air, Oscar started woofing. He is not fond of the unusual. Poppy thought she might give chase :)

A cold walk on the way out with the wind icy, but on the way back with the wind behind us, rather pleasant.

In the afternoon, I did manage to get that haircut!

Now settling down for some movie watching with a small cava. Have a fine Saturday blippers x
