Detective Constables Louis & Briggs, or if you're a mate you'll know them as Bob and Dave.

With these guys on the case, you're guaranteed laughs and gaffes galore!

The unlikely but brilliant pairing of one of Britains finest actors, Robert Powell and Jasper Carrott made them one of the must see double acts of the 90s.

Like The Simpsons, the idea for the series started out as a 5 min sequence within another show, Canned Carrott.

Eventually stretching to 5 series of it's own, it attracted a host of stars, a fair few of them normally more at home in serious roles.

Thank goodness they're not in charge of security at the 2012 Olympics (I hope they're not!)
