Freedom Sculpture

Had a really good day out in Liverpool today. We visited the International Slavery Museum,
It covers both historical and contemporary aspects of slavery and is definitely worth a visit. The photographed sculpture is made out of recycled metal parts and was created by a group of Haitian artists in 2007. It represents their continuing struggle for freedom and human rights.

I lived and studied in Liverpool for three years, on one hand it feels like going home, but on the other hand I can't get over how much it has changed since I left in 2005.
