Guard's Door

The Guard's door is opened right back on itself leaving a gap to see down the platform to one of the station staff, and Goliath in the far distance.

Today I was responsible along with the guard for the doors on this train - Daisy the DMU on a Day Out With Thomas on Llangollen Railway. As a volunteer Travelling Ticket Inspector (TTI) I have to ensure all passangers are safely on board with all the doors properly shut at each station on the 7 1/2 mile line (soon to be extended to 10 miles).

Jen the guard was curious about my taking photos of doors, so after telling her about blipfoto she promptly joined up (JenRen) though I hope technical problems uploading her 1st blip won't have put her off!
