Chocolate chip muffins

The continuing cold spell (minus 16 C this morning) means I'm baking more than usual.

These chocolate chip muffins resulted from the kids pestering me to buy some muffins at the supermarket the other day. Me, buy industrial muffins? Over my dead body.

There a batch of jam muffins baking in the oven as I type. Cold weather is damned fattening.
