Breakfast pancakes
We've had a busy but fun day today.
It began with making yummy pancakes for breakfast. Kerr was very enthusiastic with cracking the egg and helping to whisk the batter. I then managed to set off the smoke alarm and he freaked out and ran from the kitchen screaming! However he quickly returned to demolish 4 pancakes with butter and jam..
Kerrsdaddy then took Kerr for a much needed haircut. He behaved impeccably at the barber's and came home proudly brandishing a small bag of sweets which the lady had given him as a reward for being good.
This afternoon I was taxi service for Kerrsdaddy and my brother in law to take them to and from Drumgoyne Distillery for a whisky tour and masterclass - a Christmas present from my parents. Kerr stayed at my sister's and played with cousin Lucy for the afternoon. After I had dropped the boys off for their whisky tour, I headed to Kilearn where I found a lovely coffee shop. One giant piece of chocolate cake and a coffee later, and I was ready to explore the gift shop and a nearby garden centre.
I collected the whisky experts (who were slightly merry but not too bad), and we headed back to collect Kerr.
A quiet night in front of the telly for us tonight. Not much worth watching though, typical.
