Deer, deer, deer...

Tried a new cycle route this morning, round the back of Hopetoun House, near South Queensferry (National Cycle Route 76, if you're interested). I saw this log contraption and thought "that's an odd thing to build, it looks like it was meant to stop some animals jumping over that little gully... I wonder what animals?" Then I looked slightly further up the hill. Oh. Deer.
