Ticket to ride (or maybe not)
A just-before-dusk walk along the South Bank to Tate Modern for tea yesterday evening (the audio-visual installation in The Turbine Hall was migraine inducing but the Lemon Verbena tea was great).
Dinner in the library of The Royal Geological Society at Burlington House (shed loads of books and rocks and lots of doors to sneak through for exploration - all very 'invisible cloak').
Followed by unashamed sneaking in the back door and blagging it past security to get into the Hockney exhibition at eleven o'clock at night after a few glasses of wine (if you really bloody love lots of the same trees painted, at slightly different angles, in bright green then this exhibition is for you. Personally, I don't like green that much).
Today, more South Bank walking and photo taking and back to the station only to find out that someone (Mr Adventure's) had booked our return journey for the previous day. Basically, we would have left London before we'd even left home, the day before.
You with me?
Just to note, this has been the hardest day of my blip life so far for choosing the one and only shot of the day. Still not sure if this one is 'the one'.
