Cormorants

It was one of those grey freezing cold days, looking across the River
Mersey from Liverpool and the lights were still on midday. Even the seagulls looked a bit miserable.
But
the Cormorants were sitting on their perch, watching the ships sail up and down river and clowning around (and probably casually keeping an eye out for fish) . Always looking beautiful.
