It's Not Right but It's Okay...*

Bit of a lazy day, spent the morning napping and surfing.

The girls were back this afternoon and Eve and I curled up in bed for a bit and read some stories, while Lily watched TV and Jeanne played on the DS. It is nice to have all my girls home together.

Lily and I were laughing tonight as I cut her a blunt fringe...we both have one now. I'm not one for hairdressers and always cut my own hair...and the girls hair (much to their shame!) Poor Lily being the first born has suffered a few bad mum haircuts in her time. She looks lovely with her new fringe tonight though.

We all had Cookies and Cream Ice cream and the girls watched Harry Hill. We don't watch much TV and I was more amused by watching Eve laughing so much at him that she just lost it and could not stop guffawing.

Stuck the blue canary I painted by the light switch in my bedroom tonight. It's watching over me. It is only staying there till I get the real thing.

We all watch over someone special..no matter how far away they are.

Just heard Whitney died. Me and Stucks strutted our stuff to 'I wanna Dance with somebody' Probably the last mainstream disco track before we went all cool and indie.

Lily is 20 now but the first song she sang along to in 1992 /3 was "I will always love you" I'll never forget her hardly being able to talk but joining in with the 'yoooooouuuuu' bit when it came on the radio.

Thanks for the songs Whitney. And thanks for giving me that memory
