Melancholy indeed

I have hardly left the house since Thursday. Two children with tonsillitis is not conducive to fun days out.

I have dolled out enough calpol, ibruprofen and antibiotics to drug a small elephant.

My friend came round in the afternoon and I escaped to the butchers. The grocers was closed. I was indeed melancholy.

In fairness it worked out well as I ended up at our local budget supermarket and bought the most gorgeous currysauce. I would normally do it from scratch but frankly could not be bothered.

Had a nice civilized night with family and friend.

Health wise they are much better this morning. DD sounds like she has a large rock in the back of her throat though.
