Tranquility

It is becoming increasingly obvious to me, that I feel most relaxed when I'm out in the hills. Something I only really discovered, thanks to the man in my life, little over a year ago. I'd always known being by the sea held a particular sense of calm for me, but I never really knew the hills would have such a similar effect.
Today's wander involved a somewhat slippery at times, ascent, up to Laddow Rocks from Crowden. Him demonstrating his new 'ice axe self-arrest' technique on a snowy slope. Very impressive it is too. Although I'm not too keen on him doing it near the edge.
