The Giants Causeway

We're in Ireland for a long weekend, first Belfast then Dublin tomorrow. Today we went to the Giant's Causeway a basalt column rock formation made when lava flowed into the ocean and cooled rapidly.

Legend has it that the Irish warrior Fionn mac Cumhaill (Finn McCool) built the causeway to walk to Scotland to fight his Scottish counterpart Benandonner.
