Drunken Bumble Bee

On the way up north to see mum and dad today via a shoot in Oxfordshire.

I'm photographing some Women's Institute ladies at Denman College for Times Money and arrive early enough to be treated to lunch and a walk in the gardens.

It was lovely to sit by the lake and watch the Kingfishers and Dragonflies.

I've been noticing a lot of thistles at the moment, they must be very fashionable. I'm not sure whether I was able to get so close to the Bee because it was weighed down with pollen or drunk on the nectar. Either way it was a privileged view.
