If you know the Edinburgh By-pass, you'll understand....

Today the 25 minute journey to my in-laws in Edinburgh took 2 and a half hours. Our plans to go on to Fife and clean up a house we're doing up over there were put on hold for another day, and we just trooped home (a mere 1 hour 10 minutes) and sulked on the sofa watching a very long movie about Odysseus.
