Why I don't write poetry

Hope

According to legend, the snowdrop became the symbol of hope when Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden. When Eve was about to give up hope that the cold winters would never end, an angel appeared and transformed the snowflakes into snowdrop flowers - proving that the winters do eventually give way to spring.

Ah!

Apologies for the lack of comments over the last few days. I seem to have spent most of my time running back and forward in the car collecting and dropping of my little one!

Lois had a dancing exam today. After Fridays shopathon to find black tights without a gusset (Anthony - no comment please!), Lois managed to rip them within 30 seconds of putting the bloody things on. Grrrr and hissy fit from me followed!

These snowdrops were taken at Mountquhanie Manionhouse, where Lois was spending the afternoon with her buddy. (A lovely place to rent a cottage if you are visiting this way!)

Off to eat pizza (with a little wine perhaps on the side).
