This is no squirrel

Quite used to squirrels feeding from the bird feeders but this is no squirrel. A rat grrrr. We saw him whilst eating lunch. Pete went out and had a look but he ran away - came back 5 minutes later though. We have had one (maybe more) living in the compost bin for ages. They do not seem to be attracted to all the yummy goodies on the traps despite Pete's efforts.

Have to say he was quite cute, very shiny coat - must be all the good stuff in my compost bin!

Have set a humane trap next to the feeder- not sure about this - then have the dilemma of what to do with Ratty. Emmm I'll leave that to Pete.
