Doon The Dukes!

It's been a nice relaxing Sunday today....

We started the day off by getting all the chores out of the way, leaving us time to chill out, take Sammy out and practise our instruments...
I even managed to fit in a visit to my parents.... even though they live next door and we share the same path to our front doors, if it's a busy week we don't always see each other, and because they're next door we never really make a point of visiting the way my sisters do..,,, anyway, it's been a busy week and I just felt I was missing them, so I made the effort to "visit"....

Afterwards we took Sammy Dog doon "The Dukes"..... translation for anyone else.... we took him a walk through The Duke of Buccleuchs' Estate, along The River Esk.... it's a beautiful and peaceful place where you rarely bump into anyone else other than the odd horse rider.. there were quite a few horses out today, but it wwas a perfect day for it... not too cold, a nice crisp day...
Unfortunately Sammy had a poop in the car again on the way there but it wasn't a big drama, we stopped the car,put it in a bag and carried on... I guess we'll just have to keep trying with him.

Now I'm going to chill out whilst Hubby plays his pipes upstairs (sounds like he's standing right beside me though!!!) and I'm not going to think about the fact that it's Monday tommorrow...........
