Evening Sun Over Dunleaccain

A calm misty start to the day gave way to a lovely, bright sunny afternoon with the hills glowing in the low golden evening sunlight.

I had meander up the farm road to the lower end of Beinn Glas , So peaceful up there only the sounds of the water falls and the mountain sheep . I sat there watching as the sun came down over the South west end of the loch and the hills were bathed in that winter golden glow. Off course there is always the small problem of finding a vantage point where the telephone poles and phone wires don't spoil the hot.

Sadly my favourite tree has ben blown fown in the storms early this year but our good friend on the farm has planted a small tree in it's place.

Hope you all had a good weekend and those of you down south in the subzero temperatures ( our daughter phoned to tell us of the -16 in Hitchin ) hope the thaw comes soon.

A back blip form a few days ago in a white wmisty world.

Where has all the colour gone?
