Poppy Puppy

Well I've been away this weekend visiting my parents as my sis, niece and Poppy Puppy are down visiting as well.

A week or so before Christmas Poppy Puppy did an excellent job of breaking her back leg - it was all pins and bars and wotnot holding it together along with lots of bandages. She had been confined to a cage for many weeks to stop her running around but happily she recently had all the pins etc removed. She's doing very well I'm pleased to report although her fashion sense leaves a great deal to be desired.

Well, if she wears this funky little outfit then she can't get at her stitches and nibble them out - her legs are a little on the short side so the legs of the outfit have to be rolled up but let's face it, better to run around looking like a right pillock than to be a cone-head 24 hours a day. Plus, it's better for everyone's legs too as she has no sense of the ruddy great plastic cone round her head and just runs into you and keeps pushing until she gets by.

It won't be long before the stitches can come out and she'll be back to normal again- whatever normal is for a springer/lab who is totally potty :)
