Challenge: Macro

This is more my speed for a topic. I love getting outside to photograph garden gems close up. The weather & hibernating flowers, however, aren't cooperative this time of the year. Despite the extreme chill & wind outside today, I mustered up the courage (& layers) to brave an outdoor shot. This Rhododendron is in front of our house. Though it looks almost as if this drop of previously melted snow is about to drip to the ground, it is frozen onto the leaf, needing a bit more coaxing from the sun to send it on its way.
