These are some of the first layer of limbs on the sycamore at the front of the parental home, taken from an upstairs window. It is a pretty large specimen, but we're not sure how long it's been there. There is an old map (late 18th century, I think) with the house marked and what seems to be a tree symbol right where this one is now. However, it strikes me as extremely unlikely that they could be the same tree.
